PreCanSkate
PreCanSkate is an un-parented, readiness program for participants who have never skated before or who are not confident with their balance on the ice. Skaters will learn how to get up and stand on the ice with balance, move forward, move backwards and stop.
Skaters require a CSA-approved hockey helmet with a cage and their own skates.
Our PreCanSkate sessions are instructed by Skate Canada Certified Professional Coaches and delivered in a group format. All ice and coaching costs are included in the registration price.
Skaters must be 3 years of age as of program start date.
CanSkate
CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Skaters will learn a series of balance, control and agility skills taught in six stages. CanSkate is for participants who can move forward unassisted and complete a full lap around the arena with relative speed.
Skaters require a CSA-approved hockey helmet.
Prerequisite(s): successful completion of PreCanSkate or equivalent.

CanSkate is open to all ages - 3 years to adult!
